The church of Würzbrunnen is a gem dating back approximately 1,000 years, located in the municipality of Röthenbach in the Emmental. The church is very idyllically situated and served as a backdrop for film adaptations of Jeremias Gotthelf novels, such as "Ueli der Knecht" and "Ueli der Pächter".
